Halloween

For many years now we have gone to a pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill to select our pumpkins.  I always try to get a family photo.  This year we just couldn't seem to get a good photo.  I'm going to have to do some photoshop magic and try to splice a few pictures together.

After failing to get a good family photo I tried to get some smaller group and individual photos...

Mark insisted the plane comes to the pumpkin patch with us

Allison is very strong for her age

After we take a few pictures we get to have some fun.  There is a hay ride, a train, and a carousel among other things to do there.

After the carousel we decided to attempt another family photo since the sun had gone down and maybe kids wouldn't whine about sun in their eyes...

After a fun and eventul pumpkin patch experience Camille and Allison got to do it again at a local patch with her preschool.

Camille got right down to it and started to clean out this pumpkin.

 It was a fun day.

On Wed before Halloween Camille's preschool had their own trick or treating.  There were a lot of princesses.  And in case you can't tell Camille is a mermaid princess.  This is the only time she wore the cape with her costume.

Allison joined in.

Halloween has arrived and my kids are ready for the parade at school.  Camille and Allison easily found some of Lilliana's friends to walk them around.

Mark and his good friend Garrett

Halloween night I finally got Allison to wear her full costume.  Granted she only wore it for 10 minutes max, but at least I got a picture of it.

Lilliana was a soccer player (the broken arm is for real - I'll explain in a later post).

Happy Halloween 2013!

ps.  Two days after Halloween Jim offered to buy each of the kids candy for $5.  Surprisingly they all took the deal.  $15 very well spent!  I donated a VERY full bag of candy to the candy for troops program (after I ate my favorites).

  1. Awesome idea to buy your kids candy! Lucky enough, mine are still too young to notice when 3/4 of their stash disapppears over night! We donated all ours to the Elders :) When/where was the pumpkin gutting at the preshool pumpkin patch outing? Did we miss that?

  2. Christine - no you were there. It didn't last very long because they weren't supposed to touch it. It was left there from a tour thing that was done earlier. I think Camille was the only one with pumpkin guts on her hands.
